arrow_back Why does iOS 14 beta show AdMob ads without permission to access IDFA?

I have an app that shows Admob ads (banners and cross-page ads). They write that with the release of iOS 14 ads will stop showing if the app is not updated, because the user has to give permission to allow access to IDFA. Google has a red banner in AdMob with information on how to update the app. I put iOS 14 beta 6 on my phone, ads are still showing without any IDFA permission, does it mean they have this function disabled in beta or ads will not be shown if I updated the app and did not enable this permission?

Ads can be displayed without access to IDFA. I can't say specifically about admob, but you can do it without it.

With IDFA it is possible to show targeted (personalized) advertising, which takes into account many parameters related to your device and the information that can be obtained using this identifier.
Without IDFA the usual contextual or any other less relevant ads will be shown.
