arrow_back Where can I see the performance of cisco routers?

I have four switches from microtik they act as routers so far.
Now I am choosing a router for this purpose, so I chose the MIKROTIK CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+
From the tests, I kind of imagine that standard firewall rules and not a big queue tree will give you 1Gbit/s
That's what I need, I don't get more from the provider.

Very, very often I hear about ciscoes, but no matter how much I googled, I can not understand where they describe the performance of individual devices. I'm not a sys-admin, I'm far from it, I'm just a masochist. But I was thinking about buying a cisco to have two platforms for some kind of study.

If you type your question into Google, a bunch of comparison tables come up.

But I was thinking about buying a cska to have two platforms for some kind of study.
Buying expensive hardware to study? What are the virtual labs for?

Cisco has so many models for so many different purposes and technologies, it's not even clear what you're looking for. Personally, my personal Google gives me in the first a lot of specifications for their products.

Wexter It's not even close in my conditions. 120 Mbit is its ceiling. I mean the switch and that, with the fact that in the tests specified 25 firewall rules, and I have queues.
If you believe the tests, then it should give out 1 Gbit at all, which is strange. Because just disabling Fastpath already cuts performance by 3 times... Although I'm a lamer in these things and maybe I configured it wrong.
Dima_E From the router I expect a corresponding increase in performance in the same conditions, looking at the minima in the tests
I have roughly indicated what I have and what I would like. 1Gbit/s for the internet
For home network with firewall and queue tree. (4 switches 60-100 devices)
In microtic is easier there is just a table with performance measurements in different areas and on the approximate performance of switches, I could estimate what the router will give.
Since everything there is on the processor, if I understand correctly.
I have these switches: CRS326-24G-2S+RM
https://mikrotik.com/product/CRS326-24G-2SplusRM#f...
33Mbit in the worst conditions, with the settings I use, 200Mbit/sec. This is only the queue tree ! And 100 if you add a firewall, which is set at default settings.

Hi
Your performance will depend on the length of the cable and its cost + compare the characteristics of both models, and how fast the reception - transmission two computers and a meter will show you all the real speed
