arrow_back Why is the background video glitchy?

Good afternoon, there is a Wordpress site that runs on a DIVI theme https://cdcanimaltherapy.ie/ . The problem is that often the background video for 15 seconds glitches and slows down. Previously the file size was 20mb, after compression the file is 3mb. I tried mp4, MOV, but no difference. What may be the reason, maybe need to transcode the video or reformat it in GIF, for example.

ALEX , upload your background video on the video-provider youtube, vimeo.
And stream your video from there. Obvious advantages:
1) The service itself will compress the video as needed. And it will broadcast it much more stable than your hosting.
2) You do not lose precious traffic - which is critical on cheap hosting.
